WELCOME TO THE OFFICIAL WEBSITE OF THE FREE PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH MISSION.
This is a special dedicated site which is run under the auspices of the denomination’s Mission Board and Missionary Council. It will report on the work and witness of our missionaries who serve the Lord Jesus Christ at home and abroad under the Mission Board of the
Free Presbyterian Church. Missionary endeavour has always played a vital and pivotal role in the life and history of our denomination. This new site under God will seek to promote the on-going efforts of our denomination to fulfil the Great Commission in our own day and generation.
It is the objective of the Mission Board to send forth missionaries, called of God with a burden for a particular field of service, to preach the Gospel, and to stand for the Lord Jesus Christ outside the false ecumenism of the World Council of Churches. The Mission Board may also direct workers to help cover vacant works or to provide additional capacity on the Mission Field.
It is the burden and vision of the Mission Board together with the Missionary Council, that as a denomination we rededicate ourselves to the task of obeying the Great Commission of our Risen and Glorious Head, the Lord Jesus Christ in Matthew 28 v 19+20. This unfinished task requires the full co-operation and support of all of our congregations, as together we labour to see the fulfilment of Malachi’s ancient prophecy: Malachi 1:11 For from the rising of the sun even unto the going down of the same my name shall be great among the Gentiles
Through the means of this website we want to introduce you to the work of all of our missionaries one by one. This we hope will help you pray for them and as God enables you to financially support them.
You will find links in our Gallery Section with the Vision Magazine and our Missionary Section where the work of every missionary has been highlighted. Regular news updates will be available from our missionaries. You can also subscribe to the email list of the missionary of your choice and read their prayer letters delivered personally to you by email.
We have also outlined various ways for you to get involved either personally or collectively as part of your congregation in supporting the work of our missionaries and the many various projects with which they are involved. Please use the contact page to get in touch if you feel you are able to help.
It is our prayer that God will use this new site to refocus hearts and minds once again on the on-going missionary work of the Gospel at home and abroad under the banner of the Free Presbyterian Church Mission.
